Performance Enhancements
The product patents included in the Performance Enhancements segment are product inventions that enhance the performance of ratches, i.e. tension force.
Atension has developed “The Camwinch” which produces 3-5 times the tension force compared to conventional ratches – with the same hand force. The new tie-down ratchet perfectly substitutes conventional ratchets in terms of usability, compatibility and adjustability, but its unique and patented design makes it superior to all ratchets available on the market today. The Camwinch has all the potential of disrupting the market for tie down ratchets and set a new world standard. The increased tension force has an immense impact on number of lashings needed to comply with regulations reducing required number of ratchets by ~60%.
The Camwinch is ready to go into mass production and can be done so at the same cost of a standard ratchet.
